Decadent Banana Walnut Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together mashed bananas, sugar, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt; blend well.
  4. Add chopped walnuts and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
  7. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
